Painting something totally new. Goldfish! I went to PetSmart and watched them for a long time and then realized that I could put my iPhone right up to the glass and shoot photos of them as they swam by. The fish were shy: if I moved the camera, they darted to the back of the tank. If I left the camera still, they’d once in a while come to investigate. I managed lots of blurry images, but enough to learn their shapes. And the color! Wow.
