EDiJuly 31: Something Super

I am back home in Virginia after being in Colorado for twelve days. I stayed in a beautiful house with a fabulous view….and no internet connection. It really opened my eyes how much I missed being connected, how often I check in with my favorite blogs, look at the pages I follow on Facebook, or use the net to answer simple questions or to do research. Now I know!

But I did do some drawing while I was away. This is a view from the house where we were staying and I decided it was perfect for EDiJuly 31: Something Super.

EDiJuly 25: Draw Something Flexible

I love yoga, especially when the practice explores a balance between quietness of the mind, physical strength, and flexibility. Some of the poses are visually beautiful, too.

“Low Lunge,” pencil, 4×6″

EDiJuly 21: Draw a Tote Bag

One of my favorite tote bags from LL Bean. It has an open top and extra-long handles so you can carry it over your shoulder. Pretty lime green trim.

EDiJuly 18: A Remote Control

We thought it would be fun to put different names on the buttons for this cable TV remote. I like the idea — but there’s not a lot of room for writing on these little buttons. I had a little fun with it.

“Earth Remote,” pigment liner, 3×9″
