Indoor Plant Shelf

For a long time I’ve kept a few small potted plants on the countertop near my kitchen sink because the light there is just perfect. But I never liked having the plants take up space right there in the midst of all the action. A Google search turned up no good products for an indoor plant shelf, but my  favorite DIY and crafty websites came through!

A nifty website called One Pretty Thing shows lists of interesting crafts projects, so that is one of the first places I looked. From there I found this “thermos stand” at Design Sponge, which is perfect to adapt for my plants.  I’ve cut the wood and drilled the initial holes for hanging; I’ll post my finished project when it’s done.
